Thankfulness

It's Thanksgiving! Most of us have so much to be grateful for. Just to sum up a few, we get to live in this great land. We have jobs available. We get to live in the Northwest where the climate is mostly friendly to outdoor adventures of a large variety of things to do from snow to salt water. Hopefully your list of things you are grateful for is extensive. If you can't rattle off at least 10 things right now in your head, you should stop, grab pen and paper, and count your blessings. One thing I am certainly grateful for is you and RTB and it's associates. Because of you all, I get to swim, bike, run, travel, and heckle people while on the race course. And without you, I likely would be sleeping in most every day. But no, people show up at my door and make me go out and do stuff that is good for me even when I do not feel like it. Making it Fun!

In the past Kriss Chiropractic sponsored a pretty good triathlon team. It was a great idea to have Kriss Chiropractic stamped on as many high performing athletes as we could find. Then I was humbled at the Coure d’ Alene Ironman trying to finish my run when Benny Swedburg said that I should join RTB. I told him he should join my team. We sparred back-and-forth a few times on the out and backs until at the end of the race a certain RTB athlete in my age group beat me on the run. I admitted Benny was right, we should join RTB. Combining forces with RTB enabled us to expand our sphere of influence to others to benefit us all. Our Lake Tapps Morning Swimming group (find us on Facebook) suddenly expanded and our new buddies quickly adapted to arriving at dawn and in jumping in the cold lake. · They learn from the boy scouts! Their motto is be prepared. The new docs that have hit the ground running have had their pre-defined scripts and office procedures memorized and role played before they showed up for work the first day. Students have memorized tons of stuff to get through school. Why not go one step further and memorize the really important stuff? Study of any subject for 10 minutes a day will make you a knowledge machine in no time at all. · They have great mentors. That may be someone they know. It may be someone they have never met. Great mentors are found in person, on youtube, in books, and as seminars. Success leaves clues. Find out what works and duplicate it. · They are never satisfied.
